Food Blog: KFC Cheesy Bacon Pasta Bowl

Yesterday, I drop by Robinson’s Foodcourt and happen to remember KFC’s new product, Cheesy Bacon Pasta Bowl.

And so with my great love for bacon and cheese, I decided to try it out. And low and behold, it’s taste is disappointing. The pasta taste like water, lacks cheese, so little bacon and meat toppings. With that in mind, I won’t recommend this guys for you to try. 2 out 5 score!

Janine Tugonan was asked by Mr. Jose Manuel Romualdez, CEO of People Magazine - Q: Many women nowadays, forgo a happy life for a successful career. How do you feel about this? A: I believed that women have the right to choose between what they want. But, for me, you have to go for what God had call you to do. Whatever it is between the two, you must do what’s your purpose in this world. Just have a child-like faith and mature obedience, then everything will go smoothly. Thank you.

What do you think of her winning answer? Well, for me, she answered it well. I just hope that she could sustain that confidence in the international pageant she’ll be joining.

Janine Tugonan will be representing our country  in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012. And will she be crowned the next Miss Universe? We will just hope and see.

Bit-by-bit Philippines 1: Manila Zoo

I guess in this bit-by-bit journey of my mine I could be able to show the world the beauties beyond the corners of the Philippines but were not given justice and left undone.

Here below is what I did/saw on my visit to Manila Zoo:

- Manila Zoo Entrance

Below is the map of the zoo (located near the entrance).

Below is a zebra (an African black horse) that has lost its stripes. how sad!

Below is Mali the elephant, he’s alone there and his cage were a bit dirty and nasty. =(

Below is a close encounter with Mali!

And (due to M’s persistence) we did a photo op with the burmese ‘albino’ python for 100 bucks (P100 with souvenir pictures).

Please keep visiting manila zoo, it may seem too petty but it will help, a lot actually. They need volunteers too, for sure the animals would love to have some of your time. =)))))
