Yes, bet you’re right, Binibini #18 Janine Marie Tugonan was crowned Bb. Pilipinas 2012. She is a 5’9 beauty from Balanga City, Bataan and a Pharmacy graduate of UST.

Janine Tugonan was asked by Mr. Jose Manuel Romualdez, CEO of People Magazine - Q: Many women nowadays, forgo a happy life for a successful career. How do you feel about this? A: I believed that women have the right to choose between what they want. But, for me, you have to go for what God had call you to do. Whatever it is between the two, you must do what’s your purpose in this world. Just have a child-like faith and mature obedience, then everything will go smoothly. Thank you.

What do you think of her winning answer? Well, for me, she answered it well. I just hope that she could sustain that confidence in the international pageant she’ll be joining. 

Janine Tugonan will be representing our country  in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012. And will she be crowned the next Miss Universe? We will just hope and see.
